Judy W Kelley Scholarship

We are excited to once again be offering our annual Judy W Kelley Scholarship for $5,000 to graduating high school seniors of the Class of 2024.*

Scope and Eligibility

To be considered, applicants must be high school seniors planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university, community or junior college, or state-licensed trade or technical school. All graduating seniors regardless of race, religion, or sex are eligible for consideration upon submission of an application. All applicants must either be a member of Mobility Credit Union with account(s) in good standing or have parents/legal guardians who are members of Mobility Credit Union with account(s) in good standing.

Award and Selection

One (1) scholarship payment of $5,000 will be made payable to the school and presented to the selected student to use toward college expenses. Selection will be based on several factors, including character, community service, scholastic record, financial need, and recommendations.

Application Procedure

  1. Complete and submit a scholarship application:
    - Provide a letter of recommendation from a school representative
    - Provide a letter of recommendation from a member of a community organization
    - Due on or before May 3, 2024.

  2. The scholarship selection committee will review the submitted applications and select applicants for interviewing. Students selected will be notified by phone or email with an appointment date and time.

  3. The applicant interview process will begin.

  4. The selection committee selects recipient and an alternate.

  5. Recipient will be notified by May 15, 2024.

  6. Scholarship recipient MUST submit their selected university and office of financial aid mailing address to Mobility Credit Union by July 5, 2024, to receive their funds.

*Mobility Credit Union will provide ONE (1) $5000 scholarship award to the eligible applicant chosen by the selection committee.
